Surveys we undertake
Our ecologists specialise in a multitude of ecological surveys, from habitat and botanical assessments, to wildlife and protected species surveys. We will determine the ecological value of a site to inform your scheme designs and planning applications, as well as conservation strategies. These surveys vary but include reptiles and amphibians, breeding and wintering birds, mammals and botany.
We have a strong ethos of working in partnership with our clients from the initial site assessment, through the planning process, and implementing mitigation, compensation and habitat management solutions. We guide clients through the process from Preliminary Ecological Appraisal (PEA), to Ecological Impact Assessment (EcIA), Environmental Statement (ES) and protected species mitigation licensing.

Services we provide
Corylus Ecology provides a fully comprehensive range of ecological services from Ecological Impact Assessment (EcIA) and Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG), Protected Species Mitigation Licensing and Ecological Clerk of Works (ECoW) to Habitat Regulations Assessments (HRA), Expert Witness advice, Conservation Management Plans and GIS mapping.
